Haram City by New City for Housing & Development is an affordable housing residential development spread out over 82 Acres along El Wahat Road.
Completed in 2014, the compound recently began to display the need for repairs. In 2020, constructive received the contract to conduct visual inspections of over 8,000 units and develop recommendations for repairs and materials. We subsequently prepared tender documents, evaluated submitted tenders, and conducted value engineering exercises and negotiations with interested contractors on behalf of the client, also preparing and finalizing contracts.
Constructive was then awarded a second contract to manage the contracts, coordinate the contractors, implement project control measures, and conduct site supervision for the repair of 1,800 units. The compound has distinct architectural features such as roof domes and vaults and presents quite a few challenges as it remains fully occupied with residents going about their daily business while repairs are ongoing. Contractor's thoughtful and collaborative approach helps make the process seamless making sure each step is undertaken on time and with minimal disruption to residents. Our highly experienced supervision team was tasked with the Inspection of 8,000 damaged units in a record time of just 3 months.
